About bmp LEGAL
bmp Legal was founded in 1994 by Dr. Michael Brandauer, LL.M. (London School of Economics). In the years immediately thereafter, Dr. Brandauer mainly worked for several years in the legal department of a large, international bank in a neighbouring country.
In 1998, a desire for greater independence led him to concentrate on practicing law in Austria. At first he became a partner in one of the larger law firms in Feldkirch.
Then, in 2001, he qualified as a lawyer in the Principality of Liechtenstein and established a law office there.
Two years later, he opened his own law office in Feldkirch's old city center, where, 17 years later, he continues to practice law.
Twenty-six years of experience spanning a wide range of legal issues allow him to develop effective strategies in both commercial and contentious matters, to seek and achieve the best-possible result for his clients. Over the last two decades he specialised in national as well as international contract law and civil litigation - with a bias in advising banks and health care providers in all daily legal problems. He has been successfully pleading banking law issues as well as numerous medical negligence cases in national as well as international Courts.
bmp Legal also is a member of the Austria Legal Network (ALN), a collaboration among eight independent law firms across Austria.

The law firm of bmp Legal has its office in Feldkirch, in western Austria's Voralberg. bmp Legal is, of course, concerned with the interests of its clients in the Voralberg, yet its clients have interests far beyond the boundaries of Feldkirch, the Voralberg or even Austria. Where our clients go, bmp Legal also is able to go: as advocate, as adviser, as guide to trusted advice in other jurisdictions. bmp Legal's clients are involved in all the world. So are we.
